Really good healthy banana cake recipe! Super simple to pull together. I did tweak it somewhat. More for personal family taste than recipe reasons. I backed off the butter to 2 1/2 tbsp and added 1 more banana.
I also added just a pinch of allspice and nutmeg to give it a more holiday flavor for this time of season. This is a really great recipe and is very versatile to adapt to ones own likings. Good alone or with a light glaze topping. Can not go wrong with this one!

Turned out well. Put some nuts on top before baking for a bit of crunch. Daughter had some in lunch box and loved it!

We particularly like this banana cake because it's so moist and the banana flavour comes through strongly. A great way to use up those bananas that are starting to turn brown.
