Parents overestimate how much exercise their kids are getting

Only one child in 10 gets sufficient exercise - yet nearly three-quarters of parents are convinced that their kids are active enough for good health, says The Telegraph.
Part of the problem surely must be that the parents are no more active than the children. If mum and dad slump down on the sofa all evening, and don't make any effort to include exercise in their daily lives, what hope is there for the kids?
One child in three overweight or obese in the UK, and these kids will grow up into unhealthy adults with a shortened life expectancy.
