Healthy Eating Tip of The Week 1 -Eat Lightly Cooked or Raw Food

by Elizabeth
(Healthy Eating Made Easy)

Yep, that's right. There's a lot to be said for food that hasn't been boiled or steamed or - worse - fried to oblivion.

Salads are an obvious choice for this you'll find 50 Healthy Salad Recipes in my useful little ebook - and you can always start the meal with a warming soup while the weather's cold.

Another good choice is a stir-fry, where veggies are cooked to just the other side of raw, keeping them crisp and crunchy and the nutrients intact.

Dress your stir fry with lemon or lime juice, a splash of soy sauce and a handful or two of of chopped fresh coriander (cilantro) and you have a healthy and very tasty meal. Add shredded chicken or flaked salmon if you want something more substantial.
