It sure sounds weird, but for anybody who has had one knows it tastes great! This snack is packed with the protein and nutrients your kids need. Very kid-approved.
Ingredients: 1 small banana 2 slices of 100% whole wheat bread (toasted or non-toasted) 1 tbsp of low-fat peanut butter A pinch of cinnamon
Directions: 1) Peel the banana and slice the whole banana in chunks from top to bottom. Be sure not to make the banana slices too thick. 2) Spread the peanut butter on both slices of the bread. 3) Place the banana slices on top of the peanut butter side slice of bread, and sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the bananas. 4) Place the other slice of bread on top.
Enjoy!

Scrummy Mango Pudding!
This is an easy pud, and although it's not pure fruit, it doesn't contain additives like whip-and-serve puddings. You can make this the night before and it will be ready for when you need it the next day.
First get two fresh magoes, remove the peel and the stone. I put them in a food processer to make a puree, but if you peel them with a potato peeler into thin slices and then use a masher, that will work too. Then heat a packet of lemon or lime jelly in boiling water, and leave it on the side when it has all dissolved. Add a small can of condensed milk to the mango, and stir. Then add the mango mixture to the jelly and leave in the fridge. It isn't all fruit, but it is much better than the other stuff!
