Hi,
My name is Jon and I recently launched Pick Your Own Fruit to help people easily find fresh produce and information on growing and preserving crops.

You can search over 4,000 farms in our directory by zip code, category and keyword. You can list your farm for free in our directory. If you visit a farm in our directory you can log in and rate the farm and share your experience by writing a review.

We also have how-to articles about canning, freezing, and growing crops. Since the site is still young we only have a few articles up but we are adding more every week. You can register and create a profile if you want to connect with other members or contribute to the site. We need people who want to share their recipes, knowledge, questions and pictures. You can follow us on Twitter. There we will keep you updated on what new articles and features have been added.

Since we are still building we welcome feedback and your opinion really counts.
