Brussel sprout recipes

by Elizabeth
(Healthy Eating Made Easy)

17 December 2009 With any brussel sprout recipe, the key to success is not to overcook. There are few things worse than a soggy sprout, so steam them or boil until just tender and no more.

Once cooked, you can dress them in all sorts of ways - see my brussel sprout recipes for plenty of ideas.

Another brussel sprout idea
by: Elizabeth

If you're not keen on boiled brussels sprouts, try shredding them finely and stir frying - make sure they keep some crispness. Add other finely chopped veg, and even some shredded turkey leftovers, dress with a mix of lemon juice, soy sauce, a little oil and some grated fresh ginger, and you have a light dish that's healthy and full of flavour.
