You want to develop great abs using a healthy diet and targetted exercise? Great idea, but with soooo much conflicting advice out there, where do you start?
I'd heard of this ebook but does it really deliver a foolproof system?
But once I'd read The Truth About Six Pack Abs I knew I had to include it on my site. It's by far the best book on shedding belly fat and toning abs that I've seen.
If you follow Mike Geary's recommendations, you can't help but get a more sculpted and toned mid-section.
By the way, The Truth About Six Pack Abs is a downloadable e-book, and you can start reading it as soon as you purchase.
Now ladies, please don't be put off by the title and that ripped guy on the cover. The advice in this book works just as well for women as for men, and you won't end up muscle-bound.
Mike Geary's system is good for everyone, male or female, young or old, and more than 60% of his readers are women. Eating the right diet, and exercising in the right way helps strip away that stubborn stomach fat, and tone up flabby abs, whether you're a guy, or a gal.
My Review of The Truth About Six Pack Abs
What I really like about this book, is its focus on healthy eating. So many weight loss systems want you to eat some complicated and unnatural diet, and call for a lot of effort just to work out every day what you can and can't eat.
Mike Geary's approach isn't like that. The first 50 pages of this 150-page book are packed with information about the best abs diet, including meal plans.
Mike's explanation about how he went from eating junk food every day, to finding that his cravings had disappeared for ever is especially interesting, and chimed with my own experience of eating healthy.
Mike - who is a certified personal trainer and has been studing nutrition for many years - gives a full breakdown on which carbs to eat, healthy v unhealthy fats and the best types of protein.
He also talks knowledgeably about soy, dairy, green tea and fat burning foods - fascinating!
The book addresses the problem many of us have with changing entrenched eating habits, and offers a string of strategies for altering fixed habits, and not just for a few weeks, but for life.
That to my mind, is some of the best help you could have, if you want to drop fat and keep it off. A fad diet that only works while you struggle to stick to it, is useless, but this system would be easy to follow permanently.
Ok, enough about eating, what else is in this book?
The main emphasis on the remaining 100 pages is on exercise - the CORRECT exercise.
I was really surprised to find that this isn't endless sit-ups and crunches, but when Mike gives detailed explanations of the anatomy behind his exercise recommendations (too detailed for me, I admit - I cut straight to the 'how to' exercise pages), it does all make sense.
Every exercise is explained and clearly illustrated, so even if you're not used to working out, you'll know what to do.
These exercises are easier to do in the gym, but if you prefer to stay home you can do most of them with a set of free weights and a fitness ball.
I'm recommending this book to visitors to my site, because once you've read it, the takeaway message is clear.
With the right diet, the right exercise and above all, the right ATTITUDE (something Mike emphasises), you definitely can tone your abs and shift your unsightly and unhealthy belly fat.
If that's your goal, then definitely The Truth About Six Pack Abs is the one book you need. It has definitely proved a great investment for me.
