Autumn's here and it's time to make the most of the lovely abundance of seasonal produce.
If your kids have just gone back to school, you're probably looking for lunch box ideas - and I've got loads:
Lunch Boxes for Kids
Try adding half a corn on the cob as a lunch box snack. Our shops are full of these brilliant yellow cobs at the moment. This vegetable is filling and makes a good light lunch or snack. While they're really cheap, I often cook up a batch, they keep well in the fridge and are perfect for nibbling.
Cooking Corn on the Cob
My neighbour came round last night with a big bag of windfall apples.
Many of them were in perfect condition, ideal for using in these Baked Apple Recipes.
Don't waste bruised apples, simply cut out any damaged parts and use the rest. You'll find plenty of Easy Healthy Apple Recipes on the site.
Enjoy the wonderful fresh foods of the season.
Happy Healthy Eating!
